What to expect
Hatha Yoga
Hatha – pronounced – Ha-tha or Ha-ta means “force” in Sanskrit, alluding to the use of physical techniques within the practice.
Hatha yoga is a traditional form of yoga that focuses on balancing the mind and body through physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation. It is ideal for beginners and those seeking to improve flexibility, strength, and inner calm. Hatha yoga offers a gentle introduction to the practice, emphasising alignment and mindfulness.
Flow Yoga
Flow style yoga, also known as Vinyasa yoga, is a dynamic practice that links breath with movement in a continuous, flowing sequence. This style emphasises smooth transitions between poses, creating a rhythmic and meditative experience.
Ideal for those seeking a more energetic and creative practice, flow yoga improves strength, flexibility, and focus while promoting a sense of balance and harmony.
Outdoor Yoga
Held during summer time only, when the British weather (usually!) holds out for us.
Expect a gentle yoga flow surrounded by the sounds and scents of nature, reconnecting with the earth and the world around us.
Trauma Informed Restorative Yoga
Trauma-informed restorative yoga is a gentle, supportive practice designed to create a safe and nurturing space for healing. This approach combines restorative yoga poses with trauma awareness, allowing participants to reconnect with their bodies at their own pace. Emphasising choice, comfort, and mindful breathing, it helps release tension, reduce stress, and foster a sense of safety and empowerment.
Ideal for those seeking to heal from trauma, illness or stress, it offers a compassionate pathway to restoration and deep healing.

Abundant Goddess Afternoon
An afternoon to disconnect from chaos and reconnect with yourself and Mother Earth.
Set in the beautiful location of Evenley Wood Garden. We will gather around the fire pit and connect together with the land and each other, setting intentions for our afternoon to grow in abundance through our practices.
Moving into a warmth building, grounding yoga practice to open our hearts to Mother Earth and be fully present in this space. Exploring ways to release pent up energy and allowing a space to grow. The stunning setting in nature will help us to disconnect from our busy minds and reconnect with the beauty in our lives.
Please meet at the car park shortly before 3:30pm. You will need to be able to walk through the woods from the car park, on uneven terrain.
Drum, no experience necessary, we will guide you through. As a group we will weave together intentions to enhance the drum and explore the power of the beat within (you can just sit if you don’t feel comfortable to join in).
After drumming we will enjoy a herbal tea and a bite of chocolate to ground and nourish our bodies before we close for the afternoon.
- NEW DATE TBC August / September 2026, 3:30-6:30pm, Evenley Wood Garden
